So I've been going through my gallery, and re-editing some of my older entries, either making them better, or reverting back to how they originally were. These days I'm not much of a fan of editing photos digitally, with the only exception usually being a boost of colours or cropping, so I went back and applied to this rule to my photos with ZOMGSOMUCHEDITTING.

I've also recently being listening to a lot of solo guitar albums and musicians (I don't mean like, folk music or whatnot; check out Keiji Haino for some idea), and I'm planning on recording some of my more, erm, "piercing" compositions on electric guitar and voice, so expect an update on that in the near future, possibly in the form of a free download.

So, it's Movember now (November's a lie), and it's already 4693757005745786 degrees outside.
The only thing I'm looking forward to about Summer is having more sunlight for longer, and having lots of sun to take photos and experiment with. I've had to wait for a while to do some ideas 'cause of lack of good sunlight and weird weather, so I'm happy summer is almost here.

In other news, I'm currently melting into a puddle at my feet.

Only 5 or so weeks left of school, and left of year 11.
Then 10 weeks off. I plan to dedicate most of this time to record all of my written compositions, and probably do a bit of much needed recreational outdoor photography since the weather will be nicer.

Nothing new to report. But I think it's time I updated this anyway.

A few neat new things have happened recently, and a few to come, which has made me more eager for the future. One of them is my trip to Melbourne I'll be going on during the first week of August, and another is an upcoming movie.

I'm going to Melbourne for an art exhibition my father is holding which is filled with his art, so that'll be fun to be at. I'll also get some time to go shopping for stuff Canberra disappointingly lacks, such some rare and vintage CD/Record shops, and places with limited-edition one-off toys.

The movie I'm (somewhat) looking forward to is the Astro Boy one. I grew up watching the 1980s series, and being constantly surrounded by anything and everything Astro Boy, so it's only fitting I see the movie when it comes out. Yes, I've seen the previews, and I think it looks like it'll be terrible, but I'd feel bad just buying all the merchandise and not actually see the movie. So fingers crossed that a small part of my childhood doesn't die from seeing it if it's terrible.

Also, I've started getting back into the drawing medium of art. Expect some more drawings up opposed to photos in the near future. Unless you like my photos more than my drawings, in which case you should nag me endlessly until I post some more photographs.
